It’s the third day of the 2022 WSF Women’s World Team Championship at the Madinaty Sports Club, with just five 17.30 matches. The top four seeds – all unbeaten with just one match to play – had a day off, while the lower-ranked teams face off to see who will challenge the top four in Tuesday’s Pool deciders.
It was nail-biting stuff, as each of the 5/8 seeds were taken to the deciding match before clinching the wins – Canada coming from behind against Switzerland, while Scotland, Hong Kong and Malaysia also secured their places in the quarter-finals.
