Philippe Signoret (France’s coach): “We won our 3 first fixtures, that’s what we wanted. Today, I decided to rest Coline because she had two tough matches yesterday. Since the beginning of the competition we ‘ve been seeing some surprises with the number 2s, such as Cristina Gomez yesterday against the Hong Kong player. I knew it would be difficult for Chloé to make her debut in the event but I didn’t expect her to be so tense. As far as Camille goes, she feels like today she didn’t play as well as yesterday, but we were playing in a different club and the courts are completely different. Besides we thought that her opponent was injured  at the end of the second game and established the strategy based on that, and she came back in the third as if nothing happened. Hong Kong, tomorrow, of course a very important fixture. I know their players very well, and although the timing is tight we’ll do everything to prepare the players as well as we can, especially with the video analysis.

Spain bt Germany: 2-1
